Live Scan Fingerprinting is a criminal background check using electronic images of your fingerprints submitted to and processed by the California Department of Justice.

Fees: Travel set up fee* plus rolling fee of $38.00 per applicant plus government fees.
*Travel set up fees are as follows:
Brentwood, Oakley - $55.00
Antioch, Discovery Bay and Knightsen - $65.00
Bethel Island and Byron - $75.00
Mountain, Pittsburg and Bay Point - $85.00

It is the responsibility of the Requesting Agency to provide the Applicant with the BCIA 8016, REQUEST FOR LIVE SCAN SERVICE form. All Applicants MUST have a valid government issued photo ID, such as a Driver’s License, which CANNOT be expired.
Applicants must provide a sanitized worktable, near a power outlet to set up equipment. Table must be at least 4 to 6 feet long.

Booking/Cancellation Policy
Please call Suzanne at 925-308-6060 to cancel/reschedule at least 2 hours before scheduled appointment. Any deposit collected will be applied to cost of services or forfeited for failure to cancel or no show.
All signatories MUST be able to communicate directly with Notary. Translators are not permitted for notary services.
$50 or the accommodation/travel fee, whichever is higher, will be charged for “No Shows’ or cancellations less than the time permitted in the booking policy or time specified in all verbal or written agreements.

Legal Shield Associate - Access to attorneys and legal documents
Passport Style Photos 2 x 2 - $100 minimum includes up to 4 sets. Each additional set is $15. Please provide well lit space to minimize shadows. Must wear a solid color top.
Manual Ink Card Fingerprinting
Apostille Services - $175 1st documents, including government fees. $125 for second and third document and $100 for each additional thereafter for services in California. For any of the other 49 state please call for estimate.
Translation services - must provide documents to be reviewed and allow 2 business days for estimate. Upon acceptance of the estimate, please allow 7-10 business days for completion Expedited services are available at a premium and based on availability.

Where are you located?
While my home base is Brentwood, I do not have a physical location to meet with clients. All services are performed on a Mobile / Travel Basis in the comfort, convenience and privacy of anywhere you choose.
How much does it cost?
$45 Rolling Fee + Government Fees + Travel/Setup Fee, which varies by location of services
How much are Government Fees?
Government Fees are determined by the level of service associated with the Authorized Applicant Type on your Request for Live Scan Application, which is specifically assigned by the Department of Justice (DOJ). How much are Travel/Setup Fees?
Travel / Setup Fees start at $45 and vary based on location.
Where do I get the Live Scan Application?
The Request for Live Scan Application is provided by the Requesting Agency that is requiring you to be fingerprinted. Unless the Requesting Agency has made special arrangements with us, Sealed with Integrity does NOT provide any Request for Live Scan Applications.
Can I just print the Request for Live Scan Application off the Internet?
To avoid delays in processing and unnecessary expenses, you should obtain the Request for Live Scan Application from the Requesting Agency or whomever is requiring your fingerprints. The information in the top section of the application is specifically assigned by the DOJ will determine the level of service required, where the results will be sent and how much the government fees will be.
I accidentally used the wrong application, do I have to get fingerprinted again?
Yes, for your protection the DOJ does not share your information and will required you to be fingerprinted again using the correct Request for Live Scan Application.
Will I have to pay again I used the wrong form?
Yes, unfortunately the DOJ will not refund due to the incorrect application being used nor will Sealed with Integrity…. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct forms.
My fingerprints were rejected by the DOJ, now what?
To avoid additional fees, you must return to the original provider to resubmit your fingerprints. You must have the rejection letter from the DOJ, a copy of your Original Live Scan Application and a current government issued photo ID.
